'Shami in leather' has a certain perverse appeal.....I imagine TB has a picture or two in his 'private collection' that he looks at 'when alone' :D

Nobody has ever accused me of being sensible, Aaron. :)

I had a vegetable madras last night. My air tanks have been draining all morning and I don't think they're empty yet.  :-[

We all know that the valves on your air tanks are pretty dodgy!  ;D

Being a calm patient sort, I have loaned the superdupervisor in question a copy of the DSA guide to driving large goods vehicles with the appropriate section marked for him...

Done as a gesture of goodwill of course... Not that he will interpret it that way :-X

1st as your vehicle's don't use public roads that doesn't count,

2nd that guide us about 50 years out of date, is there still a section on ratchet handbrakes. :o

3rd How much longer do you wish to keep this job.
1. Sections of it still apply as the vehicles are supposed to be kept in a roadworthy condition, and do use some roads to which the public have access.

2. Two of our smaller trucks have mechanical handbrakes and hydraulic service brakes.

3. As long as I need to. Actually quite enjoy it, frustrations notwithstanding, and could walk into another job tomorrow.
