Just go to halfords, ask for a set of wipers to fit your car, fit them and use them and in a couple of years repeat process.

Its all i have ever done and never had any kind of problem with wipers.

Too much thinking about such elementary stuff is a waste of time
.

So there!

 :) :)

(I wonder if anyone will agree with me ?)

It happens a lot on here, tyres being the best thread, (winter) ;D

I'm sure there's more bandwidth wasted on what's the best oil to use, how often should it be changed, how much is it and where should I buy it? threads than tyres. By a bleedin' large margin.

Have used Halfords blades on all our cars for years no problems whatsoever, have also used Wilkos  own on the 4x4 they were fine as well.Always change them every 2 years.

Ordered a pair. :y

Not cheap £29.23. :(

Areo Twin?

Bought a pair at Halfrauds last month. Less than £20. But I did have trade.  :)
Omega (and Zafira-A) need the AR ones, which are now nearer £25 on Halfords trade, for 2.

The newer push-fit type ones are considerably cheaper.

BG - I agree the GM ones are probably about the best you can get for the Omega, and when my dealer stopped delivering, I started using the Bosch equivalents. Now the dealer has got their tradeclub act back in order, I will return to GM ones :)

Looking at independent tests the Bosch Aerotwin seems to come out on top most of the time.

Does anyone have experience of these? Flat blades, I believe.

I had some a while ago , they were ok for a week or so then they just failed  :( Bought a cheap set , normal blades for £3 ... best set ever bought  :) :)

I agree wholeheartedly, but use an even simpler and cheaper procedure: I buy cheap flat ones off Ebay, which costs about £7 for all three including delivery. I could do that without moving from my chair.  I replace them when their performance drops, which is about every three years.

Yep, cheap flat ones from ebay on mine as well, cost about £4.something.  :y

Likewise.. well, when I had the Omega, and the BMWs.  I currently seem to change cars faster than the wipers need replacing, so.. ;D :-X

Contacted ECP today some 4 days after order was placed. They tell me the wipers are no longer in stock and will need to be ordered directly from Germany.

I've taken the refund route.
