Hello once again,

I've read some topics about changing the plastic rocker covers for the metal ones. I understand that the ones from Vectra 2.6 (Vectra B I assume) will fit, but some have said that the pressure has then nowhere to go (once the PCV valve is blocked and so on) and oil will start dripping out of somewhere else.
I'm wondering what is the pressure in the camshaft that the Omega V6 is operating at? Then it would be possible to add a pressure release valve to the metal covers and prevent the pressure build up - of course it would lead to servicing the added valve itself regularly.
Also are there any other vehicles that I could take the metal covers from besides of Vectra 2.6 V6? Any Saabs or Signums?
It's just an idea, so let me know whether it's a plausible idea or not.

The correct working pressure is less than atmospheric IF the breathers are clean.

Hence the alloy overs work well if you keep on top of this, that said the plastic ones also work well of you keep on top of the breather cleaning 

Another challenge is the fact the oil filler is in a different place for the alloy covers and hence the neck wont fit in so its a bit trickier to fill with oil.
