And quite right too! IF the Coventry cars were plated as PH. If they were plated as Hackneys theres not much they can do about it.

If they were there en masse for a single prebooked job ie relocating passengers from a diverted flight or for a cruise ship booking, then fair dos, but if they're actually working as hackneys, ie picking up willy nilly, then very illegal... as it invalidates whatever insurance they may have. Liverpool council and plod should be very interested in dealing with it, as should Coventry licencing authority
