i decided that to save time for the moment, rather than go with a new policy (admiral, Bell, etc etc), i'll just transfer my existing one from the saloon to the estate.

but no that's not even simple due to the lpg. The Post Office had to email a dept in Norwich Union who would pass the enquiry on and eventually (like 24 hours later) will tell me if they'll cover an lpg car. for flips sake!!
