And I am on my holidays in the caravan and it has rained just about all day, so far. :(
The rains thismorning was my excuse for staying in bed late, mind, even daughter did not get up till after 10.00 :y

I recall when i had a convertible......drove to a local furniture store with the roof down, parked up and left the roof down.......

After about 15mins inside the store.....i was wondering what the drumming type noise was.......it suddenly dawned on me.....the noise was rain on the roof of the store.......it was absolutely chucking it down  ::)

I looked out the store window and decided......well its wet now no point dashing out to close the roof now  ::)

5 mins later the downpour stopped........and the sun came out again...

When i went out.......water was still dripping off the dash and stereo, switches etc etc.......It started fine.....and i never had any electrical probs with  :y

Tho the leather seats were a tad damp for a while ;D

Thanks Pete  :y

No really, I'm off to Scotland tomorrow to risk life and limb trekking down a river with bigger than average rapids for the time of year in a 6ft plastic boat.

Keep up the rain dance 8-)

And I've just ordered a silver tow bar socket to match the silver roof bars - haven't found a silver kayak yet though  :-/

That's not stricly true Guy.  It has a holder for a flask and I've stuck heat pads on my feet before now - but usually only when we have to scrape the ice off first.

Plus a 6m divers wetsuit, vest, fleece, dry cag, gloves and a neoprene skull cap under my helmet its actually quite cosy  ;D
