My omega is a select

Hi all my omega estate is a select is this the bottom of the range car.it have powered front windows,mirrors,sunroof and drivers seat and centel locking

unfortunately yes....

Spec goes Select / GLS / CD / MV6 / CDX / Elite.

In 2002 the "Sport" was introducted.

Does it have the 2.0 8v engine?

Yes, at the lower end of the range spec wise, but still a good comfy cruiser :y

2.0 8v engine.  Don't see too many of those ;D

Our first Omega Estate was a Select, but had the 16v engine. Was a lovely car and we had it for 7 years, still comphy and big. :y

Surely the MV6 an improved upon CDX??

Prefacelift - retail MV6 is almost CDX spec, minus cruise, but with HIDs

Facelift - virtually CD spec, with HIDs

Sports seats, Carbon inserts, sports suspension etc etc, and did they not come with a better stereo as standard??
