Yahoo Spam
« on: 18 August 2008, 10:38:17 »

Anyone else getting this??

Links to yahoo groups in emails which turn out to be porn or other crap...  Genuine yahoo groups set up so all the links are genuine and don't get caught by the spam filters...

Truly annoying  >:(

Same with me, I've been tweaking the mailserver for a few days now since the rebuild, got SPF, DK and DKIM filtering (pointless as all the mails are actually sent VIA yahoo's webmail)...

Bayes is having a mare keeping up with the amount of training its doing...  yet the scores only dropped by 1 (from -2.569 to -1.543...)

Get, on average, about 600 a day SPAM to my main account, yet a handful of these are the yahoo ones which don't get filtered...  all the rest does!

No major probs with spam.  Over a period of time the average has gone down from approx 100 a day, to about 50 and now about 20 aday.  No porn

I made a mistahe signing up with "the regisyer" to inform me of new posts and cant get it to switch off, so thats makes up for half of my spam folder.

To be fair, hadnt actually give any thought to the amount of spam.

 :y :y :y :y to Yahoo.
