You fall off and don't die :-\

Not that dying would exactly be a preference... But compared to losing a limb or spine...

Falling off hurts more as you get older.......so I'm told.

I'm not risk averse though so I don't tend to worry too much about what 'may happen' :y

But once all the roads are narrowed to shoehorn in bike lanes ,plus all the extra cars
(because all faith in public transport is lost due to risk of catching covid 19 and being dead)
Opti will need a fast,small mode of transport to service his extended harem  :)

As teenager in the seventies I had a T-shirt that read  'If it feels good do it'....... I still tend to follow this mantra often with unforeseen consequences. :-X ::) ;)

Last time I fell off was when I was 40. Low speed lowside on black ice. I hurt from head to toe for about a week. 20 years earlier I wouldn't have felt a thing.

I still have the metal plate and allen screws ( in an NHS bag) from when I broke my femur in the late seventies.

I've got one from the 1980s , my Tibia ,broken into 7 pieces  ,I mounted the plate and fixings on a teak plaque  :)
