Here's some p0rn for you, then, Pete: http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php  :-*

Keith is on a couple of the kit car forums I belong to. He's built a couple of Westfields based on MX5 running gear (worth bearing in mind if the tin worm returns). ;)

The wrong side of the pond but some ideas on that site for sure.

.. oh, and he does a conversion kit for an LS1 / LS2 V8 install if the bolt-on hairdyrer doesn't float your boat. ;D

I like this kit

Hmm. :-/ Never been into replicas TBH. I did have a bad experience when I met some throbber at Le Mans trying to convince me that his (badly) converted Pontiac Fiero was a real Ferrari 348 though.

He even went to the lengths of complaining about the lack of Ferrari dealers in the area when he managed to throw a rod through the side of his asthmatic V6 trying to do a burn-out.  ;D

The sight of it being winched onto a low loader didn't make me  ;D that much, honest.

Its something I would feel OK about on the Mazda, it doesn't look as scary as the V6 ;D

Lol, yes but, you need to do a FULL engine rebuild, not just a head change!
