You are right there STEMO! I was involved in LHR terminal 3 arrivals when it was being built in 1970. (bloody hell!!) I was never a union man but had to join anyway otherwise you never got the job and complied with working rules. The BS we had to go through was incredible. They were bad days thinking back on it. As you say that is all we need for the airline industry in these times. I have been involved with aviation (gas turbines with a few detours) since then. Retired now though!!  :'( :'(

Q: how can we ensure that all those people who pay for our champagne lunches end up unemployed?

A: threaten strike action in exchange for a payrise when the industry is on its arse...

Yep, at the end of winter and when coal stocks were at a record high. He was the best weapon the Tories had in the 80,s.

If ever there was a clearer symbol of union bullsh!ttery...

Striking because the vehicles allegedly put them at risk of infection, but all sat around about 2' apart without masks on having a chin wag.  ::)
