covid vaccine
« on: 01 January 2021, 09:36:12 »

the doctors practice that i am with has apparently administered 70 doses of the vaccine . that got me wondering , whom decides the priority. also nobody should call the surgery, just wait to be contacted. a lady has written on Next Door Dalton that she was put on hold for two hours before she became No 1 on the call list.my guess is the surgery was inidated with calls regard the vaccine. all the lady wanted to report was ,her mum had been given the wrong pills

The priority has been laid out by the government in consultation with the department of health.

I am included in Phase 1, 9th (last) in the priority order.  If the NHS get to 1m jabs a week as promised (note, jabs, not people), given there are around 27m people higher up the queue, I expect to get my first jab in the June to August timeframe if they only give people 1 jab as some idiots are suggesting, or end of 2021 if everyone gets 2 jabs.

Only 70?

I took my parents for their first Covid vaccine last Monday. They were in a group of 30, and as we got there early saw the previous group leave. While I waited in the carpark saw the next group line up outside.

I think that the priorities for vaccinations are reversed, but whoever gets it should have it accordance with the developers instructions.

I dont think my local GP practice is involved in the vaccination programme at all. They are worse than useless, and see patients as nothing more than a nuisance.

A US Congressman has tested positive three weeks after having the Pfizer/Biontec vaccine. I know you don't get full immunity but that's going to give oxygen to the deniers.

At best 1 in 20 will get little or no protection after two jabs, given its a US congressman it suggests the Vaccine and/or Virus is cleverer than we think  ;D ;D
