.. and it was a great day in Aviemore. Had a fantastic blat around Scotland in the Westfield today. Bright sunshine and blue skies all afternoon and not a spot of rain. Great roads, very little traffic. Really gave the car a good spanking today for the first time in far too long. [smiley=evil.gif]

Where did you stay in Aviemore? That is where my Omega is parked up at the moment! I have a place there as well as Mallorca. In Libya at present.  8-)

We've descended on the Hilton. Well impressed with the roads round here. locals probably aren't impressed with me after I got a bit over-enthusiastic and burnt all the sound deadening material out of my exhaust.

I hope Kevin you visited the Strathspey Railway at Aviemore; great little scenic railway, but not as good as the "Watercress"!!

Shame I am in the middle of the desert! otherwise we could have met up. The Cairngorm Hotel is good for a beer or 3 opposite the steam railway station.

Funnily enough there is usually a good drinking hole next door to steam railway centres!
