Just passed one of the local petrol stations on the way home and noticed the price /litre is €1.67 ( £1.41 ) up from €1.52 last week . That's quite a jump even for this little country .
We don't have town gas down here therefore all heating and cooking is either LPG or kerosene So it'll be interesting to see what heartache  is just over the horizon.
Burning turf was commonplace but cutting it has now been banned by the government although it can still be had . Smells lovely but gives out 'ck all heat .

I bought thirty 40KG bags of dirty black Polish coal last week and have five tons of seasoned Oak, ash and birch stacked in my barn couple that with the 450 litres of kerosene that I had the presence of mind to brim my tank with last month means that not an ounce of f\/ck will be given through winter from this little " Neidin ".

I was in the middle of switching to Avro Energy when they went bust a couple of weeks ago, so I've no idea who is supplying my gas and leccy, nor how much it's costing!     Hey ho!

The Govt. turned two two licences to extract more north sea Gas last week due to being terrified of the Greenies.
This whole problem has arisen due to abandonment of fossil fuel before having viable alternatives.
If old people freeze to death this winter, Green fascists and spineless Politicians will be to blame. Not that they will give a shit.

Heard a new phrase on the news tonight which could even out phrase " mental health issues" it was " global anxiety"  thankfully I'm not suffering from either just taking each day as it comes even though the world around me seems to be going mad.

The chap on the news earlier was hysterical about the snafu over false negative TCV tests in Cornwall.

The sound was off, but from the subtitles and his movements he was cleatly distressed. Of course, the previous interview was with Jo Whiney, so it's possible that she had triggered him.
