Can you imagine how the US would view this? If things carry on the way they are, we can kiss goodbye to any future cooperation between America and Europe. Why should the US be bothered with a rag tag bunch of idiots who can't agree on anything? It's bad enough that NATO can't agree on a common position on Russia, but the UK begging for trade deals with China?

China is THE global manufacturing driving force of the world. This isn't right, but once Pandoras box was opened there was no closing it.

We can resist them all we like, but ultimately they control most of the worlds mineral rights so you better make sure your at the table. If you're not, then they will financially cripple you to the point where they will buy up the whole country for pennies on the pound. You might argue that they already own us, but that may be a bit inconvenient to accept.

And I would wager that most of the people kicking and screaming about this have Amazon accounts.
