Gliding Club in Kent!
« on: 09 September 2008, 21:24:20 »

Hey Lizzie! are you anywhere near Challock Gliding Club? I used to fly there many years ago! And do you know the "Pepper Box" at Ulcombe? a fine drinking establishment. Used it after a day at CGC.   :y

Our glider spends a few months a year at Challock. It always Pi$$es down when I go there, so I've never actually flown it there. >:( Omega gets a good workout climbing the ridge with the trailer on the back though.

Kevin

It was great getting a tow on the grass strip then out over the ridge across the A20/M20! Whoooaaa!!!
Incidentally Kevin where did you take the Westfield when you were up in Aviemore? I love driving the Omega around there as there is hardly any traffic. Great fun in the winter when there is a foot of snow! Omega absolutely useless in 2 inches of snow!
