That's certainly a case for buying genuine sensors from genuine dealers that you genuinely walk in to/speak to.

And avoid egay etc, where its hit or miss if you will get a genuine part   (a few years ago, a study showed that 95% of branded items on egay were fake)

Thank goodness that my replacement Bosch crank sensor worked straight away, and is still working fine.

To still have the same problem as one had before after fitting a replacement would drive me potty!

Son in laws Mundano had to have numerous crank sensors a couple of years ago. Local dealers finally admitted that they were part of a bad batch. Been ok since. It's a handy old 06 TDCI that the whole family use if they need any crap dumped.
