In the immortal words of South Park, blame Canada.

It's one thing for someone with MS to top themselves at a point where they become physically and mentally unable to function independently, but quite another to suggest that a depressed former Olympic medal winner do so when they are otherwise ok... Especially when the source of their depression is the state that can't or won't provide the support that it claims to.

Killing the old and infirm won't suddenly fix the NHS or Budget defect.

This has no chance of getting through the House of Lords, most of them will be personally affected almost immediately.

Killing the old and infirm would go a long way towards solving the NHS crisis and the pensions crisis.  ;)
If it went through it would only be a matter of time before old people are queueing up to be put out of their misery because they feel obliged to because they dont want to be a burden to anyone.

Yes, they do seem to be in white boxes that  could be mistaken for freezers :)
