We all know it hasn’t gone to plan for Donald. Even Trump himself.

Four to six week war that lasted months. Plunged innocent countries into inflation.
Hasn’t got control of Israel . Got the Straits of Hormuz closed when before they were open. Laughed at Obamas solution and yet now he hasn’t even got Obamas solution at a fraction of the price

Even the most dyed in the wool Trump admirer must see the epic scale of blunder.

 Maybe he should just have left the Middle East to kill each other

Just for fun. Here is my prediction. Within a hundred days the Straits will be closed again.

This is probably what will happen now.  ::)

Hezbollah will carry on attacking Israel, who will react predictably, which will lead the Ayatollahs to attack Israel, who will react predictably and the cycle will continue.....

If anything good comes of this, is that Xi sees Putin and Trumpy's military adventures turn to shite and that gives him pause for thought about invading Taiwan.  :-\

As I understand it, there was nothing in Trumpy's deal that required the Ayatollahs to stop funding and equipping their proxy militias.  ::)   :-\

The whole thing is dumb. The deal allows Hezbollah to drive a wedge between the US and Israel. Trump will get annoyed at Israel for retaliating against Lebanon, and the world will get annoyed at Trump for causing a war that has cut off their oil supplies. And the Ayatollahs in Iran are as strong as they ever were.

Meanwhile, the US do seem to be withdrawing from the middle east - around 20 KC-135 and KC-46 tankers have left the sand pit on the way home in the past 2 days with no replacements heading the other way. And last weekend 11 A-10 tank buster aircraft passed through the UK on their way home.

Chicken and egg situation. Who lobbed first?

We have been conditioned to accept the Israelis are the good guys and the rest by definition are the bad guys.

Maybe Trump has something when he says Syria can moderate Hezbollah? You never know.

Not really. Hezbollah and Hamas both have a single purpose. To remove Israel and every last Israeli from the planet.

This is non negotiable and indefensible.

Imagine if the Republic of Ireland decided that Northern Ireland its population had no right to exist and their sole goal was to obliterate Northern Ireland from history.

Would Northern Ireland have the right to proactively defend itself?

Thats already happened. It was trying to defend itself but Bliar sold it down the river.
Tragically, there is now a decent chance Norn Irn will cease to exist in my lifetime.  ;(
