Star silver is as rare as rocking horse droppings when applied to the Vauxhall Omega.

Car looks exactly like my 2003 (53) MV6 2.6, also presented in ultra rare star silver.

So it’s VX 52 SAM, a 3.2 Elite, first registered 31 May 2003, MOT until
22 Sept 27. Bit of a chequered MOT history.

Company I used to work for got all their cars - strictly a Vauxhall policy - from GUS Transport (White Arrow), before changing to Interleasing. So reg plates like *NP or *AB ring a bell, but not SAM.   My first Omega was W157TNP, a 2.5 Elite Estate. Looks like it might have died in 2011…

My last 53 plate Omega was registered in December 2003, but apparently rolled off the production line in Germany in June 2002.

Where it spent those 18 months I shudder to think.

As a ‘52’ plate only ran up to 28th February 2003, SAM has clearly swapped the plate for his personal plate.
I’m not suggesting that it is his car but Sam Burton of this forum owns/owned a silver 3.2 Elite Saloon (bought it around a year ago), and he lives on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border ……. Oh, and he knows Serek of SOS Automotive Huntingdon. As Serek has now joined up with The Car Edition, it could be possible that it’s Mr Burtons Omega.
