3.2 Manual
« on: 25 September 2008, 20:03:50 »

My previous Senators and Miggies, apart from this last one have all been autos. However since I've had this 2.6 manual that seems to give much better petrol consumption. I think I now enjoy the manual gear box rather than the autos. :-*

Is it possible for me to buy a 3.2 manual (MV6 or Elite) that is not ex police, because I have not seen any around?

How much should I expect to pay for the latest one on a 53 plate in a private sale?
 :-* :-*

The 3.2 was only available as an auto for the public.  Manuals were Police/Govt supply only....

Does this mean in order to get a manual I would have to go back further, to a 3.0 Manual? :-*

Yes, or convert an autobox to manual, or buy an explod......

The 3.0 manuals are more than capable, endless grunt. I've often wondered if you could buy a nice 3.2 auto then search for an ex authorities manual box & do your own conversion as the ex plod cars were fast but sparcely specced.

Are there any ex police 3.2 manuals that are ........
1.not white.
2.Do not have holes in the roof and could therfore pass for a civilian miggy.
3.Would it be cloth trim and no luxury inside ..if i could find one. :-* :-*

A nice 3.2 fully loaded, with a manual conversion seems like the ultimate mig (for a manual lover),a worthwhile project I would have thought. :y

I think some ex authority migs were metallic grey, slightly darker than the star silver we all know & love. :-/

Thanks.I don't think that many people would know that was an ex police car.I actually like the colour.
Looks like cloth trim inside.....But £2000 or less for an 03 plate ...what a bargain. :-* :-*

Could only see pics of the manual one, looks nice and cloth trim, I don't like leather, too sweaty for me. :)
