Went to a parents welcome evening on Thursday night

Chatted to a few of my daughters teachers.

She is very popular with them.

The teachers told me where she needed to improve (chat to the other pupils more) she is a bit quiet but the other pupils like and respect her.

Glowing reports from Maths, French and English teachers, and children are so well respected they can do thing which could get you arrested in some schools (to do with tools - nothing nasty).

My daughter was in the impression she was not doing well and had few friends but I was happy to put her straight but I didn't let on how well she actually was doing, except that I said she was doing fine and not to worry.

I have that experience coming up fo rthe 1st time on wednesday - my son only started school 4 weeks ago, and a parents evening already.

Mind you he loves it - dont think he's realized that he will be there for another 13 years at least - lol
