Thats pretty sweet. Dont suppose there are any from the front  are there?  :y

Is that his own personal car?

Does he have to cover up lights and signage to drive on public roads then??

He'd have to remove any words with "Police" and not use any B+T!!

So he could still have the blue light bar on the top, just not use it then? Are there any pics from the front?

The common practice is to cover the Police signs and the blue lights.

But according to car Mechanics mag the plod is now chasing-up people at antique car shows demanding that the 'police' cars are not driven on the road with the lights bar, covered or otherwise.

It seems they want owners to remove the bar altogether while driving to/from events on public roads.

Wow, no doubt this will dramatically reduce crime rates..  >:(

I think you would be on very dodgy ground setting up a personal car this way and putting it on the road as there are (I think) still forces using these so you wouldn't have the Antique/Classic argument even. Would definitely need to be trailered under a cover.
