a long shot but.........................

has anybody got/know of a trailer i could borrow/hire. i have got a car i need to transport from bexhill on sea upto manchester. a friend was going to lend me his but has now had a change of mind and dropped me right init. have to pick the car up by next weekend, and yes it is an omega. any help, advice, (offers to move it for me  ;D ;D) greatly appreciated.

If you get stuck have a look in your yellow pages for trailer hire.

I think our local one in Sheffield does car trailers for £25 + Vat per day.

Just tried on BT

Thought there may have been more.  Try altering the search.

never thoght about that. will give yell.com a go in a min. will the trailer need brakes if it's carrying that much weight. what does the average omega weigh theese days

You don't say where in Manchester you are, but there's Indespension Ltd in Bolton http://www.indespension.co.uk/ 2 mins away from CaptZok.
A trailer that big will have brakes.
You're loking at around a ton & a half or so, I think mine is 1700kgs ish

You're loking at around a ton & a half or so, I think mine is 1700kgs ish



i'm in tyldesley mate. about 6 miles from bolton. just spoken to a company in stockport and was quoted 50+vat for 3.5 ton gross trailer for 24hrs.

This is the place I know of, worth a ring for price comparison if nothing else. not far from M1 for anyone that may ever need the use of a car trailer in this area.

know it well. have laid/ repaired alot of floors in there. mainly up the ramp and thru the wharehouse. great canteen if i remember correctly. not been there for a good few years now tho.

Depends on who's on & when you go. Breakfasts are usally the best time to go, there's only so much you can bu66er up with eggs & bacon  ;)  ;)  ;)

was always packed wenever we went for breakfast. :( :( :(
have they still got that stupid thing at the top of the stairs that let you know how much electricity the plant was using. never did the point in that. :-/ :-/

No  :-? I'll have to ask about that one.
You mean one of the sets of stairs from the canteen to the main passage way?

that sounds more like what i've paid in the past :-? - £25 was a bit cheap :-/

Barnwell Trailers

£35 or £50 depending on what you want (flat bed, beaver tail, tilt bed etc.)
