is it just me who is experiencing difficulty with the streaming of their programmes on it?

I dont have a bad internet connection, videos on any other site seem to play fine but this bloody thing pauses to buffer some more every couple of seconds, and doesnt buffer when i pause it

I turn on BT Vision box, go to replay and watch like that, if not on replay, download to PC, fair use it, covert to mpeg4 and watch on the PS3

I don't have a problem with iPlayer and I am watching it on a cheap £150 refurbished "almost new" Dell PC that I bought off eBay (thoroughly recommended, they guy sells about one a day, arrived promptly, worked like clockwork from day one).

I do get very occasional buffering pauses when watching it streamed, but not often. In fact I am struggling remember when it last paused on a programme. But I find it best to download the programmes and watch them at leisure, as the picture quality is better, and there are then no buffering problems at all.

I'm no PC expert but maybe it is a PC problem rather than an iPlayer one? I don't have much stuff on my home PC, whereas this one I'm on at work is loaded to the gills with all sorts of programmes and files, so sometimes gets a bit choked up, especially if I don't defrag regularly.
