Aircon working only one side - how I cured it!

Glad its sorted, but try the aircon on full heat, it may pop off again as mine did, if thats the case it is the motor that needs changing as it is going past its max turn, thus causing the arm to pop off.

I've been unable to get any purchase with a screwdriver and brute force by gripping it doesn't budge it :-[

Finally got the cover off BIG mistake, The motor is the same size as the ones in a XBOX controller:-

End of centre console is now snapped
plastic motor mount is snapped
lost one of the screws down the back of the oppsing carpet

DO NOT ATTEMPT this unless you are below average height, have child like hands ,not claustrophobic and have always fancied a shot a brain surgery >:( >:(
