Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!

Some thoughts from me;

If Government funding is to be used then this should be in the form of shares, effectively  Nationalising the company. We do not want a repeat of Leyland and we do not want to spend millions of pounds in R&D.  Rebuild tried and trusted models like the Omega at a price that will sell, other companies will have to do the same, I am looking forward to buying a nice new Capri.

Tis only my thoughts............... :y

Trouble is if the Government get any sort of control over anything, they will send in civil servants to attempt to control it, people with no knowlege of the business they are trying to control. Hence BL will happen all over again. PS floating piston liners anyone ?.

Whether you support government bailouts or not, the fact that they need $4B just to get through this month rather suggests that there is no hope but to go bankrupt and restructure.  :o
