An American tourist is walking around London seeing the sights when no notices 4 police cars and 2 fire engines near the entrance to Downing Street.

Intrigued, he asks one of the Policemen whats happening.

The Policeman replied 'Ow, its very serious'. 'Gordon Brown is so depressed with the state of the economy thats he threatening to cover himself in Petrol and set light to him self'

Thats terrible replied the yank.

'Yes', said the Policeman, 'as a result we are having a whip round in order to help him out, so far we have got 40 gallons and if we can get to 100 we can torch the whole street and take the Badger at number 11 with him!'
