I always used to get a small glass of advocaat at Christmas and occasionally when we had guests.  My brother used have cherry brandy.  Then when we lived in Holland, I used to buy the stuff regularly - my wife couldn't stand it, for some reason, although she can put away Baileys by the bucketful.

The Dutch make (and consume) some truly amazing liqueurs.  My favourite, though, is a German concoction called Kümmel, but I haven't seen it anywhere for a very long time.  Flavoured with caraway seeds, very good for the digestion. :) :) :)
