OOF Hosting Space
« on: 16 December 2008, 20:48:37 »

When the details come available for the space I am obviously interested.

Would it be possible for me to upload .PPS files foe people to view or would it affect bandwidth that is of course if its possible to host them.

The reason I mention this is because I have some really good .PPS files that I think members will appreciate. :y

As long as its legal, and doesn't cause undue stress on server (unlikely with static content), you can host what you like.

Obviously, we would warn people not to download .pps files (or other potentially dangerous files) from unknown sites on internet.  Also, remember, not all members have powerpoint.

But, within the guidelines of 1st paragraph, no problems with what you decide to use your hosting space for.

I could put a link for a Powerpoint Viewr.

Could they be made read obly to stop downloads.

If they are read only, they can still be downloaded  :-/
