I hope that everyone has family and friends to be with this Christmas.

I feel sad for people who are on their own at this time of the year.

Why...there dont have a nagging wife wanting copious amounts of sex...kids screaming and a burnt dinner too try and eat.

Yeah i feel really sorry for the single people who can crack open a few cold tins and put there feet up and chill.....

Hmmm......Don't usually see..........nagging wife ............and copious amounts of sex in the same sentence.

Must get Mrs Optimist to nag me more.

thanks dusty, thats very kind of you. something you get used to living alone. last few yrs i spent with a m8, he came here or i went to his house.  we fell out in the summer,we was m8s for 35 yrs and we wont be talking again ever now

just got back from work - well sort of work. Worked hard this morning - not sure where the afternoon went - ended up back in the office about 5pm and left again about 6.30.

I think I achieved a lot but cannot remember exactly what.

taking kids out in morning for a couple of hrs shopping.  xmas dinner for me is probably a pizza or couple of quarter pounders and chips.  

I dont feel sorry for you. I'll be having christmas dinner with all the trimmings BUT..I'll be cooking it. Four hours cooking, 15 minutes eating and half of it in the bin no doubt.

And, no, that's not because of my cooking, it's because I always do far too much.

Put it in the fridge and chuck it in a frying pan the next day.....its called bubble and squeak  

Altho i live on my own with Holly.....im going to my bro's crimbo day....i'll be hungry at the end of the day  
My sis in law always cooks a lovely dinner  ....but its like a top class restaurant....great food but small portions
