Hi,

Noticed before christmas that my brake discs were looking quite worn, got some new ones. Thermostat decided to go not long after, got a new one, noticed rear shock on drivers side was leaking, got 2 new ones. Finally got round to fitting front discs last month, no problem, everything else at teh front was sound. Fitted the rear discs/shocks on Sat, took me 4 hours but fixed sticky handbrake and cleaned everything up.

On Sunday tried to change thermostat, couldn't get to it, every way I tried I got hampered by bolts/fan/pipes etc that wouldn't budge, and I got soaked. Phoned my mate who has a garage 'Need you to do my thermostat and a gearbox oil change' No problem. Dropped it off sun night, phoned him today, all done, superb. Phoned me 10 mins later, your front drivers shock has broke and the fronts bobbing about. God dammit! Was fine on Sat, typical. New springs ordered for tomorrow and no car till wednesday.

Seem to be replacing every part of this car, next on the list is the fuel pump plate, the pipes are rusted pretty much through :-/

And I bought this one cause my old 98 CD V6 was getting by its best ::)

Don't you just love em!!
