A few days ago I posted an SP cambelt setting kit in the sale board.
Although I don't own an Omega anymore, I've had a change of heart and have decided to keep the timing tools.
Although I'm not really servicing Omegas as a part time business anymore, I dare say there will be occasions when local (or not so local) members encounter difficulties, and I will want to lend a hand. it will also be useful for cambelt meets, which I still intent to play an active part in (no costs) - and a useful resource to lend to forum members who decide to DIY.
Although no current plans - you never know, I might invest in another Omega V6 sometime...
I'd like to apologise to anyone who expressed an interest, but would prefer to be upfront with the reason
Thought this was the case as your web site vanished and you were selling off tools .....
.. any particular reason ?? If you don't want to say I'll respect your privacy of course ...

Despite taking all measures to wrap up warm, I have been having a problem with my fingers and toes going completely dead half way through doing a job, and it makes it extremely difficult and uncomfortable

I've not had a complaint or an issue, I just reached a point where I was dreading opening a bonnet, rather than loving it - and that was enough to make the call, for me

I obviously have some new commitments, having passed out to do actuve duty in my new role - and although this would slow the mechanics work down, it wouldn't stop it completely.
I may resume a limited service in the summer months - but as it stands at the moment, it's not realistic, and I'd rather be upfront than commit to things I may not be able to honour...
