"LAMBDA MIN = MIN = 0.97, MAX = 1.03, ACTUAL = 1.01

Looking at the min and max for the Lambda, suppose its not too bad.

What is the units of the lambda test / what is it??"

Lambda is a ratio, which shows how rich or lean the engine is running - ideal is one (the stochiometric ratio of fuel to air - 14.6ish to one iirc, but we could look it up....), so yours is ok, (and very nearly spot on).

Miked

I have had this link for some time it may prove useful, I believe the creator is a member on here.

http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/agw625/album?.dir=mail&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/agw625/my_photos

It shows the process of a headgasket change on a 2.0 picture 32 shows the manifold removed with the cat still in place.

Should give you some Ideas of whats involved.

Good Luck if you do it.

Hope this helps  :y
