I think that she had a small part in one of "The Carry On" films .................as a contestant in a beauty contest ............if memory serves. ........Which film it was escapes me at present.

It was Carry On Girls, she was also in Carry On Matron

I always thought that Hattie Jacques played Matron................you learn something new every day.

And in 'On the Buses' and 'Dad's Army' She was in quite a lot till she settled into Eastenders. My favourite would be in Are You being Served.

And she was in the Newcomers back in the sixties.  Her father (in the series) drove a Rover 2000 and his boss had a Jag Mk X.  Her young brother is now some old stager whoes name escapes me.

And I claim not to watch the televisor . . .
