internet explorer 7 or 8

im running i.e 7, update says i.e 8 is safer. any advice. shall i stay the same or upgrade.

I am still with IE 6.0

No harm in updating if you love new technology and don't have to pay for it, I would suppose.

PITA. Downloaded it and found that you had to keep changing compatibility mode for certain webpages. Especially this forum. Ditched it and stayed with IE7 :y

i'm running 8 but its a pain in the arse

by where the refresh button is at the top there is a broken page symbol you have to press that for it to work on web sites

stick with 7 mate
i'll be doing a fresh install on my laptop soon and ill be sticking with 7

IE8 is quite good, but does make a mess of some sites (including this one if not in compatibility mode).

Run IE8 on desktop (as in runs Windows 7), but think I'll stick to most common browser (currently IE7) on lappy

Been using 8 in home for 8-9 months, no problem so far.. And faster with add ons than ie7..And have some extra's..
