rear blind

my rear blind on my elite wouldnt go up today,was working fine last week. been at work tonight so not had chance to check it out. any ideas though?

If its trying to move, need to lube the runners (not with oil!) - I use that ptfe type spray you get for nylon curtain rails

If mine hasn't been used for a while it sticks and needs several tries to get going  (I am talking about the rear blind in the car !).

Try to get it up every day (sorry - couldn't resist)  :D

Seriously though --- once you have got it lubed use it often --- just to keep things freely moving.

I think that these "rear blind" problems are posted just to humiliate mere CD miggy owners who don't have anything as fancy as a "rear blind".

I've not really found a good use for it yet.  I've used it twice to impress my mates;  A few times it hasn't bothered when I ask it to rise.  Possibly the best use is when a tailgater puts his headlights on.

Don't worry cd-owners.  It's not very useful except for jealousy value.
