I dont believe it!!!
« on: 04 February 2007, 19:01:47 »

right then any of you whose Omega has done more than 40,00 miles can guarantee that your rear subframe donut bushes will be worn, now i knew mine were but as i happened to have a set of polybushes from me carlton in stiock so to speak thought i would try them ;D Blimey what a damn difference!! the whole car drives just so much better it feels taut and responsive round the corners, it doesnent squat its arse to the floor under acceleration, it just kind of dips a few mm very gently , and bumpy roads that before required you to corect the steering constantly are now a breeze!!! I cannot tell you how good the car feels now :) its more like me old gsi that had Koni adjustables all round!!!, so to the point these bushes are available and i kept the box should anyone want the part numbers!! Tunnie saw the bushes today when he popped round to sort his plugs out, but he hasnt seen the difference that they make but believe me they really sort the wallowy boat like handling out!!!
box is in the garage so if anyone wants the numbers etc will sort tomorrow!!

worth doing on any car mate, vxhall will relieve you of around 45quid for new rubber ones, which will have to be done again in a couple years time or less if your a hard driver, polys cost about 30quid more but will never have to touched again!! takes about half an hour per side if you can work in peace!!!

That would be my fault, keep asking silly questions.

I saw the old ones removed, there were completely shot and just falling apart. Saw the new ones put on, very hard plastic ... looks interesting.

I looked straight forward ish....

Thanks for your advice today Graham, it was running sweet on the way back, although I was going VERY softly due to fuel lines.

Interestingly you know it was pi$$ing the stuff out on your road, at the trip i checked it again, it was not leaking so badly, still stuff comming out but no way near what it was on your road.

Stuck the Senator in the garage backwards... so I can replace the lines without starting the car.  :)
