Big Thanks to TheBoy
« on: 26 April 2009, 20:43:22 »

For taking the time to pop over and have a gander at my bike, sorted the cooling but discovered a indicator light is out and its down to the wiring  >:(

But being an electrical specialist, soon had the problem pin pointed  :y

Also did an oil change on mother tunnies 3.0 Facelift Estate, which was good, as i had never done a paper filter before.

Also fired up my Gas BBQ for a while, and in process is tempting me with the York meet!

Thanks again  :y

Suspect it was an airlock as i filled it too quick, ran it with the rad cap off, quite a lot of bubbles comming out, so ran it, switch off, fill up, and repeat. Seams ok now but will do a 5 mile run to make sure.

They are real fun aren't they  ;D When you finally loosen the lid off enough to turn it by hand you find it needs about thirty revolutions and deposits half a litre of oil down your arm!
