PC Security - Keyboards.
« on: 28 April 2009, 21:30:34 »

had an issues where the canle on my keyboard before the weekend, and I just could'nt get to a corded one anywhere in the house to change it (everthing packed away)  Didnt have time to buy a new one then I relised after a short search I had a brand new wireless board still sealed from years ago.

All connected up, couple of attempts the get the sensor to comunicate with the keyboard and havent had a hiccup with it since.

Then a daft thought came into my head, with all the security issues regarless wireless routers etc and the of bluetooth, ifra red, wireless radio technology and Keyloggers.  Are there any ways of using any form of keyloggers with wireless keyboards, are there any known concerns.

TIA.   :y

It would be very dificult ...the hacker would have to be sat next to you and have shed loads of software i personally wouldnt worry about that aspect Blue tooth is nigh imposible WEP and most other wirless protocols are quite easy 10mins to 10 hours to crack

with a linux laptop and a modded pcmia card any wireless lan bar wpa2 can be yours within 20 minuites!

MAC filtering is not a safe method either
