Lord Christopher Monkton on environmentalism
« on: 17 June 2009, 12:17:20 »

"What we have here, is a faction in politics, and it's a worldwide faction, that really came out of the Marxist extreme left when the Berlin Wall collapsed, and found its new home in the environmental movement. And it got into the environmental movement and took it over. A friend of mine is one of the founders of Greenpeace, and he said, "All of us who are genuine environmentalists left after a year, because the Marxists moved in and took it over."

"...It's dangerous. That's what it really is. This is exactly the type of mechanism which those who are in the small cabal that is plotting all this are working on in order to bring about world government before anyone notices. That is why they're so very angry with us. Because what we're saying is that as far as the science is concerned, there is no basis for doing anything whatsoever about the climate, which has looked after itself for four and a half billion years and will continue to do so. Our perturbations of it are so small as to be entirely insignificant, so insignificant that they cannot hope to be distinguished from natural climate variability, as even NASA itself said the other day. There is no basis scientifically for doing anything."

A must-read interview.  :y

Trouble is that most people can't be bothered to do anything about this. They just get on with their day-to-day life and blindly accept what the mainstream media spouts. Lambs to the slaughter, I fear. :( :(

Nature does indeed Nick have its own checks and balances, ridding itself of anything that is detrimental to its systems that allow the existence of all creatures.  That may mean mankind's growing burdening numbers are reduced to relieve the planet and to help us in the long run.

Plagues, general illness, natural disasters, wars, etc are all part of this process, so our lives have always, and will always, be at risk of eradication.  Whatever we do, mankind lives with that fine balance and only God knows where we are all going in the journey of life. 8-) 8-) 8-) Scientists can only ever try and intrepret what is or about to happen; they get it wrong and they get it right sometimes ::) ::) ::).

I am not totally sure yet Zulu.  I agree that we must cut down on unnecessary pollution and recycle as much material as we can, but there is no doubt about it that nature itself goes through many climatic changes. We are in one now. I believe that many scientists are misreading the signs of natural climatic change and believing man is the biggest culprit. He is not though ::) ::) ::). Man just doesn't help the situation. :(

Lizzie: That may mean mankind's growing burdening numbers are reduced to relieve the planet.

But did you know that the entire human race could, if standing shoulder-to-shoulder, fit on the Isle of Wight? Actually that was a wee while ago, so may be it's the Isle of Man now.

Interestingly, though, you're still wondering about the science and overlooking the world government aspect. Which is, of course, exactly their intention. The science is far from settled, but as long as there's fear, they will further their aims (or at least try). Next stop: Copenhagen, this December.  :( :(

one problem with man-woman kind is:

if we continue to increase in numbers geometrically and in an uncontrolled fashion , soon there will be no place for agriculture and we will start to eat each other ;D ;D

so no need to worry about nature ;D :y
