Ah, bikes I have owned (sorry chrisgixxer).

First was an NSU Quickly moped (schoolboy project).
Then a Vespa 125 (ridden illegaly, as a schoolboy, sorry).
Other Schoolboy projects included sprung hub Triumph Thunderbird, Ariel Leader, Norton Jubilee.......
Then a Honda C200, my first learner bike, ridden legally.
Next was a Norton 99, 600cc twin. Bought as a badly executed cafe racer, rebuild to original and ridden after passing my test on the C200. Sold it to the van driver who chased me around town and finally caught me to ask to buy it!
Next Kawasaki H1F -- Don't want another one.
Then Honda CB500T -- the most boring bike ever zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
Then Laverda 750SF3 -- nice tough reliable parallel twin, pretty good performance and didn't vibrate to bits.
Next Moto Guzzi Le Mans -- sexy but "woofly". My only brand new bike.

Then a 15 year break.

Born again 5 years ago -- bought another Lavie SF3, didn't know how much bikes had improved in the "lost" years. I like the Lavie but would have bought a modern bike had I known.

What next? I've ridden a Ducati Monster 1000, Buell Lighning 1200, Z1000, Super Duke and Street Triple. All great bikes but curiously bland after the rough and ready old Lavie.

Haven't ridden a Speed Triple, Tuono or any motards. The Aprilia Tuono is the bike I favour most, apparently offering a harder edged ride than any of the other nakeds.

hmm out of the many bikes ive had including a royal oilfield
have to say my favourite was my oif bsa a65 lightning bought it new in 74 and had many many adventurous fun rides on it!!!!

Mate of mine used to have an a65, I made a fortune off him selling him bits of rubber extrusion to try and stop the bloody thing vibrating itself to bits.

Were you one of those handsom lads in a Parker, with tigers tails hanging off the chrome, with 100 mirrors, that I fancied?!   Mind you it was the lads with Lambetta 200 GT's that took the best girls! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
