Tyres again
« on: 12 February 2007, 19:38:59 »

Cant remember if anyone on here has used this company before but they got my business today and I'll let you know how I get on if you want to know.

Basically a lot cheaper than anywhere else I found and have tyre fitting/suppliers signed up to take delivery and fit your new tyres.

I'm not saying what tyres I ordered but a serious saving over anyone else...even cheaper than if I bought the same tyre direct from the firm that is the agreed fitter....go figure

I use www.blackcircles.com myself. They're fully fitted prices seem to be very good.

Well got them fitted yesterday....only took 4 days for the tyres to arrive at the fitters....not bad at all as they came from abroad. Mytyres supply the tracking number so I could plan when to get to the fitters.

I bought a full set of Yokohama AVS dB 205/65 R15 99V RF , Profile V550.

They got my vote after reading several tyre tests on 205/65 R15 V rated tyres...I need to get out more!!!!

One of the highest scoring tyres and cheaper and better rated than the Firestones that were recommended for a strong sidewall. The Yokos have a reinforced side wall that stands slightly proud so offers some degree of protection against kurbing.

Only done a hand full of miles but the feel is good, next to no road noise (the AVS db is specially designed to minimise noise)

I was concerned about Yoko's as they are normally a soft sports biased tyre but these are designed to give high mileage.

So fingers crossed that my £48 yokos do what the label says :)
