Bet you enjoyed it. Did you sleep in the car with Stuy? Not sure i'd have enjoyed that!!! :-?
Fri + Sun night I was in a cabin on the Ferry (Which was brill - I've never been on a ferry before you see! :-[)

Sat night was in a hotel.  :y

I still can’t believe how big the ferry was!  :o

Anyway, can’t wait for my next trip over there, however next time it will be more of a sight seeing I think. Plan on going a few places in France, Belgium, Germany and Netherlands. Prob 2000-2500 miles in the Omega or so!  ::)

Nooooooooo... Too far for such a short length of time.

To say we had to rush to get back to the ferry to get home would be an understatement!  ;)

All I can say is Stu's car can shift well! And that’s with 4 adults in the car, and a boot full of rubbish (ie clothes, drinks, chairs etc) :o

Was also surprised how little fuel it used considering the driving style!  ;D

i like driving through Belgium, nice smooth roads  :y
you're joking, right. they have awful roads
Roads are strange...

I thought they were smooth, but then all of a sudden you would get a big join in the road, and it would be like a mini speed bump almost right across the motorways  :o

Ever driven in Rotterdam holland? its the only road that I know were I can get a 44 tonn artic to lift of the ground (Whilst drinking a coffee)
another used to be in germany from Berlin to Dresden the A9, 20 / 30 mph was far to fast for it, one of adolfs best achievments Lol.
Now its the A13 Berlin to Prenzlau.

Although I haven't been back to Holland or Belgium for 15 years, I used to spend a lot of time there.  Dutch roads used to be much better than Belgian roads, but Dutch drivers, although generally more skillful than the Belgians, tended to be so agressive that driving was a nightmare.

I used to relax when I crossed the border into Belgium.  Mind you, the Antwerp ring road in the rush hour could well be one of the most unpleasant places in the universe (Italy excluded) in which to drive a car.

Survival tip for continental driving: use a large foreign registered car.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I must say that I have driven all over the place 'abroad' and never had the problems others seem to have had (especially in poor Belgium that I'll always give my support to!!), but certainly have had all of my problems in one country.............Great Britain!!! ::) ::) ::) ::) :D :D :D ;)
