I am having difficulty getting my head round this guys speed.
if he does 100m in 9.58s that is 10.43m/s which is 10.43 meters per second is equal to 20.27 miles per hour.
and that does not allow for his acceleration, for a man to run at hese speeds is incredible.
or have I got it all wrong, I am very tired and jet lagged.

Just googled and found his Average speed in this race was 10.3199 m/s (23.085mph)

I do wonder what times he can get down too, he never seems as though he does the full 100 metres at full bore :-?

Our dog would beat him ;D

Average speeds for humans are between 13 - 18mph.

I've noticed that on the few occasions I've watched him on telly, he always seems like he's taking a stroll towards the finish line.
