Ok, it`s official; I`m old enough to post music from my 'yoof' (way) back in the 70`s (yes really!)

The "Old Grey Whistle Test".....somehow seems appropriately hued now!

....my`how crystal-bright that Fender Rhodes electric-piano seems by modern standards....`gotta get my paws on one of those.

(Synaesthete? Have just read Wiki and still no wiser!)

Synaesthesia is the crossing/mingling of human senses: in my case, I 'see' musical-pitch as visual colour hues.



Edit:
It`s also surprisingly common.....many people whom have synaesthesia it just think everybody else sees/scents/hears the same things in similar ways to them.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but your particular variation sounds like an additional benefit rather than a hinderence? e.g. does it help with musical interpretation (or perhaps its hard for you to say if you have nothing to compare it with?)

In no way is it a hindrance; for example, when I play jazz (by ear) with other musicians when we are in 'key' the world appears to me as if in a distinctly pleasing 'azure-hue'; which isn`t there at all if I`m playing (even slightly) off-key with the others......but you`re correct, It is rather difficult to judge how other people 'perceive' their sensory world.
