Did anyone see THE GREAT GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE tonight, Channel 4. 9 pm. Not if your a spurs supporter I bet. Anyway apart from you lot who wer'nt watching, we've all apparently got to buy micras or bikes. I know what I want. An Omega bike.
We will, in the not too distant future, be hammered (taxwise) for our significant contribution to this planets demise. 3Ltr.....Against that wall.  2.5Ltr.....More tax from you son. You need educating. 2Ltr.....Its an Ecofriendly 3 wheel push bike with solar panels and wind turbines for you, but for this RED KEN will let you peddle around London for bugger all, as long as hook up to the national grid. When will people wake up ?. Is It just me ??

Read that a field of cows produces as much damage to the ozone layer as 10 cars or was it a jumbo jet? Any way why not put 'cats' onto cows in field and link them up to power stations?

Seems all this climate change has always been the way of the world, why do we think that we can stop it?

When it does happen move to higher ground, enjoy the warmer weather and grow exotic plants.

didn't they used to run cars from methane gas ?. They had large 'gas bags' on the car roof. You could fill them up with all the gas from the cows, and be very environmentally friendly!. Mind you the thought of belting down the M1 with a large balloon on the roof, is ..............................

By running big thirsty cars, we are doing our bit for the enviroment......

The quicker we use up all the oil, then the sooner we will get hydrogen or fuel cell powered V8's that will replenish the atmosphere and return the planet to normal......

got to say, everything on that program made sense to me, in a way!  let's face it,the amount of CO2 we make is virtually nothing compared with what mother earth kicks out!  Why do we think we're that important that we can make such a difference?  Yeah, gimme a V8, tanker of 98ron and Castle Coombe for a couple of weeks, lol!!

Every so often the Earth's climate changes. Sometimes the change doesn't suit some or all of the species on Earth. Look what happened to the poor old dinosaurs. No matter what mankind does sooner or later we'll find ourselves up the creek without a paddle so why not just enjoy it while we're here? I doubt anything we'll be able to do will delay the inevitable.

If we unilaterally decide to go the way of the lentil we just make ourselves less competitive against China and the U.S. who won't. If climate change turns out to be man-made we'll be shafted anyway because who puts out the majority of pollutants?

Making ourselves independant of the fossil fuel supply situation, on the other hand, would be a very smart political move for many reasons at the moment but, like screwing railway track together properly, having uncongested roads without pot holes, etc.  it requires investment not extra taxation so some hope of that happening!

Anyone see the report the other night on government dept. CO2 emmitions? allthe departments that were checked were belching out more CO2 than in previous years the worst case being an increase of 42% one particular office block had windows tinted that dark that the lights had to be on even on a bright summers day,bloody hypocrits they need to put there own house in order before they start preeching too everyone else

It is always wonderful how our government lectures the populous on how they should live put decide it does not mean them.

A lot of the government buildings are maintained on the lowest tender wins/cheap.
