Like hens teeth??
« on: 12 November 2009, 16:26:35 »

Hi
Iv'e had my 3.2 Omega estate a couple of years now. I do about 15,000 miles a year and am always interested to see other Omega's.

Although in that time Ive seen loads of 2.0 and 2.5L jobs, have now seen for the first time ever a 3.2 saloon in dark green on 03 plate.

Have yet to see a 3.2 estate, seem to be rare birds.

There's a few about (I have one) but they're not so easy to get these days - Lazydocker has been after one for ages.

bob and hotel 21 have 3.2 estates. Both Elite i think.

But yes 3.2 non plod have been rare for some time imho. Estates especially. Had to go to Leeds for my saloon with half decent miles and price.

Loads of omegas round by me but not seen another 3.2 of any sort ever locally.

Bobs is a 3.2 MV6 Estate.  Mine is a 3.2 Elite Estate.  Both nice cars.

Bob stole aquired it from under my nose a few years ago from Big Rod who was only a few miles away from me at that time.  I had to spend a fair time searching for the one I have now, finally getting it at Christmas time last year.  They are out there but the good, low mileage and cared for ones are like rocking horse poo.....

Cheers Santa!   ;D

I must confess I haven't gone mad in my search but am still looking! I thought I had one last weekend but Josh managed to get a very good price for it, more than I am willing to spend at this time!

I'm sure one will come along when I least expect it next year :y :y

You gotta be quick Broocie!! :P
I'd expressed a keen interest in buying the car from Big Rod about a year before he actually caved in and sold it to me. When the time came he gave me first refusal and needless to say I bit his arm off, but at over 6 grand it didn't come cheap. ::)
