I would gladly put the rope around this bastards neck and laugh loudly as he dropped.

Thats too quick, I would use techniques that are much slower and much more painful >:(
If we get the people responsible who released him after his first rape, we'd have enough guinea pig material to be trying different things for months.

A worrying development for me was to hear that he was given a light sentence for his first offence because he suffers from aspergers. My son suffers too, but is totally unique, of course. The trouble is, if aspergers keeps receiving bad publicity then people will associate it with criminal behaviour, when nothing could be further from the truth.

An aspergers sufferer is no more likely to offend than any 'normal' person.

As soon as i saw the thread title i knew what the thread was about >:( >:( >:( >:(

He won't get his justice in prison, they're sectioned away from the other inmates (for their safety).

We are way too slack with this scum. Three years for a five year old that'll carry the scares for the rest of his life.
Gotta stop thinking about it now, because it gets my anger right up.

same here, my blood boils when i read about these pathetic soft sentences. but more that these judges give them these sentences.  >:( >:(

Please get facts correct  :)

Judges hands are tied by Nulabor and the sentencing guidelines ...  eg .. if someone pleads "guilty" they will automatically get a 50% reduction in sentence ... and as ALL prisoners (unless on IPP) only serve 50% of sentence .. this means a guilty plea will mean you serve 25% of what the "guidline" is .....

I've already posted a link to the guidlines on Sexual Offences ... have a read and just see what a "young offender"can actually be given ... it's pathetic ... but blame the correct people .... politicians .. not judges ... generally.

He has been given an IPP - Imprisonment for Public Protection - which just means his case is reviewed in a different manner - non-IPP prisoners are automatically released after serving 50% of sentence and placed on "licence". An IPP prisoner will be REVIEWED at the 50% point and a further decision made, if still considered a danger then they are not released.

It is that element which makes the sentence "indefinite" - most folks think "indefinite" means "forever" ... in prison terms it really means "non-defined".

The sentencing guidelines REQUIRE a judge to give a full sentence as that then defines the 50% point even when giving an IPP as that decides the "point of review".

Agreed, we should all be able to recognise how the political will can over-ride the judicial process by studying recent history within these British Isles.
