Really, really p'ed off
« on: 12 December 2009, 22:47:26 »

Excuse the rant but ffs.

Cancelled DD with bank and Virgin earlier this week.

Just went out to get £10 on gas card

Fekking flat front tyre decide to walk only 20mins.

Got to shop, thought I'd get half ounce bakky and some papers as well.
Offered debit card sorry it's been declined-your joking I said-no I'm not.
Turns out he wasn't
DD for Virgin gone out leaving us overdrawn by £6.56.
No money, no gas,no heating, no hot water and worse of all only enough bakky for about 10 prison strength cigs until Monday.
Bank lending dept not open weekends.

A little, tiny bit miffed you might say. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I don't know your circs so apologies if this doesn't apply - but I notice you're using a gas card.

When Maria was using a gas meter, it used to cost a fortune........ she switched to either a quarterly or monthly bill, and the costs were much more reasonable....

As I say, not sure of your circs, so apologies if it doens't apply - just a potential saving... :y

Thanks for the suggestion however since going bankrupt the gas companies look at our credit rating and say" Fek off, you've got no money so we are gonna rip you poor c**ts off even more and there ain't a frigging thing you can do about it so there--na na na na naaah"

But not quite in those words.

Thanks--what really grinds my gears is the DD won't be paid but until the frigging useless computer at the bank catches up there is still £70 apparently out of our account. If they just refused the DD,made their charges we would at least be able to get the heating and hot water on for tomorrow.
